RT-3010S Pole Mount RTK Survey Sensor
NavCom's RT-3010S survey quality RTK GPS sensor provides the highest level of accuracy and response available from a dual-frequency GPS instrument. This fully integrated package easily captures reliable and fast centimeter-level measurements into many different survey applications. It delivers unparalleled value to system integrators needing both a high performance tool and a cost-effective solution.
Applications
The RT-3010S is a real-time kinematic (RTK) survey instrument designed for tripod or range pole mounting for easy portability. The single, integrated package is rugged and waterproof, designed to survive a 2m-pole drop and temporary full immersion, so the user can focus on the job at hand. It operates off built-in batteries for more than 8 hours on a single charge or it can be operated from an external 12V power supply. The RT-3010S supports high precision survey applications such as construction stakeout, boundary surveys, machine control, high-order control surveys, and topographic surveys. Remotely controlling one unit with another enables single-operator "total station." Our RTK GPS sensor will update its position at least 5 times a second with minimal latency, so a surveyor could set a point almost as fast as he can drive a stake. Furthermore, the 64Mbytes of on-board memory expedite recording a full day's work for post-processing.
Benefits
The RT-3010S sets a new standard for GPS receiver performance by providing unmatched accuracy through a combination of interference suppression, multipath mitigation, and fast reliable initialization.
This RTK sensor takes advantage of our widely used NCT-2000D GPS engine, which incorporates several patented innovations and provides a more than 50% signal-to-noise ratio advantage over any competing technology. The user benefits by getting improved real-time positioning and reliable, instantaneous centimeter-level accuracy.
When using two RT-3010S instruments and the built-in radio for RTK measurements, the units communicate using NavCom's highly efficient proprietary RTK format. However, the receivers are also fully compatible with various other RTK formats, (RTCM and CMR). The receivers can also simultaneously receive differential corrections for DGPS (WAAS/EGNOS) so if RTK corrections are lost for any reason, the receiver will continue to provide seamless position output.
Flexible Interface
The RT-3010S is easily configured by the Windows®-based utility program included with the instrument.
Alternatively, the receiver offers an open binary user interface designed to provide maximum flexibility for system integrators. Through this interface, the integrator can provide complete command and control of the GPS receiver and radio modem, which enables the user to customize the interface and select operation modes as desired.
